After a week of user-testing a few bugs have been made visible to me as there have been different issues with different PCs :( such as the bullet collision detection not working on certain systems. This will be looked further into. For now, apologies to the people who aren't able to play the game on their systems. As for the difficulty, I have been made aware it is too difficult to play. I have done a bit of an informal user-testing before the publishing of this game, however it seems that there needs to be a difficulty setting to accommodate players of different skill-sets. The game is possible to finish, but could use slower bullet speeds.
